Academic Cell as a Continuous Professional Development Department:
Organizations need to constantly grow and develop to face the challenges of 21st century. Training is a key instrument to help the organization meet the demands of change. In the 21st century landscape, education is all about nurturing the child morally, intellectually, physically, socially, and aesthetically. To achieve this schools need effective teachers who can take greater responsibilities.
Learning being the pivot, the role of training has been shifted from being a provider to a facilitator. Academic Cell is rigorously engaged in continuous professional development of entire SCIL team. Our training sessions revolve around improving individual's attributes, knowledge, understanding and skills. Our aim is to transform teachers to take up new roles as collaborators, facilitators of learning, and lifelong learners.
We strongly believe that, children who have access to high quality education in their Early Years develop much better social, emotional and thinking skills. We at SCIL aims to enrich and sustain high quality of Early Years experiences so that our learners reach to their maximum potential. Our teachers are trained in observing and recording achievements of young learner and constantly reflect and re-evaluate their areas of concerns. We believe that every child is an individual with feelings, ideas and a vast imagination and we are committed to nurture and develop them physically, mentally, morally and spiritually.
Alhamdulillah, our children are full of joy, curiosity and hope. We encourage our learners to ask great questions with great frequency and ferocity. We never make empty promises, create misleading mission statements, or mislead parents with edu-jargon. It is authentic and transparent. We value our parents as agents of student’s success. We teach thought, not content. For us, technology, curriculum, policies, and other ‘pieces’ are less important than students and hope and growth. Our EYE Centers are equipped with great library and a librarian who loves students and who loves books and who wants the two to make meaningful connections.
The school environment can help or hinder the realization of goals for young children. Keeping this in view the school provides the best possible environment that will contribute to the development of child both physically and mentally. Provision is made for continuous growth in social and emotional development through a balanced programme that will meet the needs of the child.
At SCIL EYE Centers we mark the beginning of a lengthy academic path. The classroom environment affects learning that takes place during that crucial first year, so teachers are encouraged to carefully plan its setup. No classroom look the same, but several key features are characteristic of welcoming, operational classrooms. Our students read and write because they want to. We have diverse and compelling measures of success–measures that families and communities understand and value. We speak the language of the children, families, and community it serves. Here every single student and family feels welcome and understood on equal terms.

PRIME AREAS OF EYE All areas of learning and development are interconnected and shape our educational programmes in our Early Years settings. Below is the list of areas:
