Islamic Programme
The Islamic Curriculum at SCIL is thoughtfully designed and overseen by our specialized Hikmah Cell, ensuring that students develop a holistic understanding of Islam. Through this comprehensive program, SCIL ensures that students grow into knowledgeable, confident, and spiritually grounded individuals who embody Islamic values in thought and action.
Core Components:
- Qur’an Studies:Upon joining the Matriculation Stream, students continue their Qur’anic learning through Tarjuma-tul-Qur’an, a compulsory subject in which they study selected Surahs over a two-year period.
- After completing the Tarjuma-tul-Qur’an syllabus, students proceed to complete the remaining portion of the Qur’an through online or onsite sessions, Alhamdulillah.
- A dedicated Seerah lesson has been introduced into the regular timetable at each level to ensure a holistic Islamic upbringing, Alhamdulillah. The primary resource used for this course is “The Radiant Lamp”, compiled by Dr.Fariha Mela, Head of the SCIL Hikmah Cell.
- Tarbiyah forms an integral part of the school’s ethos and daily routine. It is woven into morning assemblies and regular school activities, emphasizing moral refinement, discipline, and the embodiment of Islamic values in everyday conduct.
Note: The Takmeel-e-Qur’an Certificate is awarded upon full completion of the program, subject to 100% attendance in the Qur’an completion classes
